What are ShortFill e-liquids?
Shortfills are e-liquids that do not contain nicotine and are designed to have nicotine or top-up shots added to them.
They come in oversized bottles allowing you enough room to add the shots to them.
e.g. add a 10ml nicotine shot at 18mg to a 50ml shortfill and it will create a shortfill that is 3mg in strength.
Once you have added the nicotine shot to your shortfill, just give it a good shake and you’re ready to go.
TOP TIP: Some shortfills will need time to steep, especially dessert flavours. This process allows the flavour to evolve transforming the taste. So if you don’t like it straight away, leave it a week or two (the liquid will change colour) and then try it again.
What are Nicotine & Top-Up Shots?
Because regulations stipulate that ‘nicotine contain’ liquids can not be sold in bottles larger than 10ml, shortfills are an intuitive way to allow the end-user to buy larger bottles of eliquids as they do not contain nicotine. This results in just the nicotine shots having to conform to the regulations. Shots can either contain nicotine or not, but all shortfills are designed to be extra concentrated to allow for the dilution of the 10ml shot being added. So even if you want to vape with no nicotine at all, you still need to add shots to the shortfills to offer you the experience the manufactures intended.
